At Bolidi Collectors Cars, our story is not just about cars - it's about passion, memories, and the love we share for the cars that have defined eras and shaped cultures. My name is Riccardo, and like many of you, my heart has always beat a little faster at the sight of a beautiful fast car.
I grew up in Italy, a country where cars aren't just modes of transportation, but symbols of artistry, precision, and freedom. My obsession with cars began early - those carefree days spent collecting diecast car models, dreaming of racing alongside friends, and crafting my perfect miniature garage. It wasn’t just about the cars; it was about the thrill, the stories they told, and the dreams they ignited. I even created my own little "Motorsport newspaper" cutting out pictures of Ferraris and Lamborghinis from magazines, imagining myself behind the wheel.
But, like many passions, life pulled me in different directions. University, sports, and my career as a finance manager for an American fashion company took center stage. Cars remained in my heart, but they were quietly waiting for the right time to make their comeback.
The Spark That Reignited the Passion
That moment came in 2022, with the birth of my first son. Something changed when I saw the world through his eyes. We spent hours hunting for toy cars in stores, drawing our favorites, and creating our own little car adventures. It was in those moments that I realized this love for cars never truly left me. It was just waiting for the right spark to reignite it.
And that’s when the idea for Bolidi Collectors Cars was born in July 2024.
It began as a simple side project as a way to honor the iconic cars that inspired my youth while creating something new for car enthusiasts to enjoy today. But it quickly became much more.
